Scope of the meeting

The career advancement of young scientists is a key agenda of the European Polysaccharide Network of Excellence (www.epnoe.eu). In this context, the EPNOE Junior Scientists Meetings are specifically addressed to researchers from academia and industry (i.e., PhD students, Post-Doctoral scientists, junior Assistant Professors) at an early stage of their scientific career working in the broad field of polysaccharide research. The meetings are held every two years and were established as a unique platform for young scientist to present recent results, share visions on the future development of polysaccharide research, and build up a strong personal network among fellow young colleagues. Senior scientist and industrial researchers are explicitly invited to join the auditorium to participate in transfer of knowledge beyond generations of scientists.
